Austin Peay State University (APSU) is a dynamic public university located in Clarksville, Tennessee-one of the fastest-growing cities in the Southeast. Cost of Attendance
At a full time tuition in-state cost of $9.500 and out-of-state cost of $14,900 ETSU offers a quality education that can be costly. Additional fees are not apart of tuition and can affect the overall cost of attendance. However APSU provides a net price calculator that students can use to determine what a full year costs.
Admission Requirements
At Austin Peay, there are various ways that incoming freshman can be admitted. These are the unconditional admission requirements. To view a full list, click the button below.
Option 1
- Satisfactory completion of all college prep courses including U.S. History; and High school GPA of 2.85 or higher; or
- ACT cumulative score of 20 or higher; or
- SAT 940 (Critical reading and Mathematics) prior to March 2016; or
- SAT 1020 (Evidence Based Reading and Writing and Mathematics) March 2016 and after.
Option 2
- GED score of 580 or higher (45 prior to January 2002 or 450 from January 2002-December 2013) with a passing notation or HiSET score of 45 or higher with a passing notation; and
- Satisfactory ACT/SAT scores in two of the three core areas: mathematics, reading, and English.
- No remedial placement from ACT/SAT in mathematics, reading, and English.

Students selected for the President’s Emerging Leaders Program (PELP) exemplify the vision and values of Austin Peay State University and our program by striving for academic excellence and putting service above self. Those selected for participation in the program receive an annual scholarship of $3,000 which is renewable for a four-year period. Click the heading to learn more.

This program will appeal to students interested in assessing common business challenges, effectively leading teams, and running their own businesses. Career interests may include project management, sales, human resources, marketing, production, and hospitality.
The management program aims to expose business students to the challenges and opportunities of a managerial career. Criminal Justice provides students opportunities to examine the field from an academic perspective coupled with practical applications. The degree program is fully available to students through the Clarksville Campus, as well as the Fort Campbell Campus. Engineering Physics is the interdisciplinary study of engineering and physics with a particular emphasis on solving complex, real-world problems. The engineering physics curriculum includes an emphasis on engineering design while also including more advanced physics than a typical engineering degree. Engineering physics graduates are well suited to applying state-of-the-art technologies to problems in engineering design and manufacturing where established approaches are insufficient. Engineering physics graduates typically work in high-tech, industrial, and manufacturing settings on teams with other engineers, scientists, engineering technologists, and management to solve real-world design and implementation problems.
