Cost of Attendance
Tuition and additional fee costs vary depending on full time or part time enrollment status. Also, being an out of state student (non-resident) can result in an additional fee. The University of Mississippi also provides a Net Price Calculator that assists students in determining the full cost of enrollment.
PART TIME (in-state)
Being a part time, non-resident student results in a tuition cost range of $2,404-7,210.
Full time (In state)
Being a full time, in-state student results in a tuition cost of $9,990.
Full time (Non-Resident)
Being a full time, non-resident student results in an additional fee of $20,160.

Admission Requirements
Mississippi residents are admitted based on meeting one of the following criteria:
- Completing high school graduation requirements and the College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) or completing equivalent requirements as determined by the University of Mississippi; and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 grading scale as reported by the high school or as calculated by the University of Mississippi using an IHL-approved unweighted cumulative GPA calculator.
- Completing high school graduation requirements and the College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) or completing equivalent requirements as determined by the University of Mississippi; and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 as reported by the high school or as calculated by the University of Mississippi using an IHL-approved unweighted cumulative GPA calculator or a class rank in the top 50%; and have an ACT composite score of 16 or higher (or SAT equivalent).
- Completing high school graduation requirements and the College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) or completing equivalent requirements as determined by the University of Mississippi; and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 as reported by the high school or as calculated by the University of Mississippi using an IHL-approved unweighted cumulative GPA calculator; and have an ACT composite score of 18 or higher (or SAT equivalent).

Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pre-Pharmacy)
Do you want to become a medication expert? Are you interested in science? Do you want to make a difference and provide quality healthcare? You’re in the right place! Pre-pharmacy at Ole Miss will provide the foundation for your future. You will build the knowledge and skills to succeed in today’s healthcare environment. Pharmacy is a broad field with many different career paths. Wherever your interests lie, our program will open the door.
Accelerated Law (3+3)
In a partnership with the UM School of Law, students admitted to the Accelerated Law Program may earn baccalaureate and law degrees in 6 years instead of 7 by using first year law school courses to complete their undergraduate degree. Starting law school during senior year means the timeline begins a year early.
Integrated Marketing Communications
The School of Journalism and New Media is home to the largest undergraduate IMC program in the country because we give students the modern marketing communication skills they need to work for major brands or essential non-profits, for small and big businesses, and for anyone who needs their story told. We believe in offering students a real-world experience. That means they get hands-on opportunities to turn a simple class project into a resume-building learning experience while simultaneously helping companies build their brands.

The Big Event allows our students to serve the local community, saying thank you to the Oxford and Lafayette County areas that support them and building relationships with community members.
It is also our hope that students will be inspired by their participation in the Big Event to volunteer for other service projects in the future.
REBELThon
RebelTHON is the University of Mississippi’s Dance Marathon
Our mission is to strive to bring together the campus and community to raise funds and awareness for Mississippi’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Children’s of Mississippi. As we gear up for our 14th year of RebelTHON, we look back on all that RebelTHON has been able to accomplish since its founding. Having fundraised over $2,335,101.35, with a record breaking total of $280,424.17 this past year.
S. Gale Denley Student Media Center
At the S. Gale Denley Student Media Center students are given hands-on experience with all things media. From reporters and photographers to news anchors and radio DJ’s, the SMC houses multiple enterprises to help students learn both new and existing forms of media, and the technology behind them.Named after Mississippi journalist, educator, and former student media advisor S. Gale Denley, the center was established in 2004 to provide a dedicated newsroom for all publications
